I refer to the minister’s media release of 7 November 2002 on the interim joint proponents of the proposed Ord River stage 2 development. (1) What section of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 does the minister consider allows the approval of Ord River stage 2 to be transferred to new interim joint proponents? (2) Has the Minister for the Environment and Heritage made a determination in writing to the above effect? (3) If no to (2), why not? (4) If yes to (2), will the minister table that determination?
