(2) Not applicable. (3) The State Planning Strategy provides a plan for the Kimberley Region. Significant planning work, that has flowed from the State Planning Strategy, is either under-way or recently completed in each of the four Kimberley local government areas. Examples of these include the North Kimberley Development and Management Plan, the Kununurra Wyndham Area Development Strategy, the Tanami East Kimberley Mineral Industry Study and the Ord Infrastructure Planning Study. The Kimberley Development Commission has secured Commonwealth funding to undertake a project that consolidates all current planning documentation for the region. This project is expected to be completed by the end of 2002. Information on all plans, strategies and projects are available from the Kimberley Development Commission.
