With respect to the power drop-out in Joondalup on 3 March 2005, will the minister please advise - (1) Was half the power capacity to Joondalup lost; and, if not, what proportion of the power capacity was not? (2) How many - (a) households; and (b) businesses were affected? (3) Did Western Power write to residents who made claims stating that Western Power’s policy is that compensation is paid for loss of damage only if it was caused by Western Power’s negligence; and, if not, what was Western Power’s reply? (4) What was the cause of the loss of capacity, how many complaints were received, what was the quantum of those complaints, how many compensation payments were made, and what was the quantum of those payments?
