The Action Plan for Employment Growth in Western Australia was prepared by a diverse group of Western Australians, led by the previous Minister for Employment and Training, the Hon Graham Kierath MLA. The aim of the paper was to stimulate public discussion on a number of wide ranging issues dealing with employment in Western Australia. As such the paper and its "recommendations" have never been formally considered and accepted or rejected by the Government. It should however be noted that a number of the issues raised are already being addressed by various mechanisms, including State Government involvement. Discussion points 1.2, 1.4, 1.5, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.7, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, are currently being addressed in some way. 2. Not applicable. 3. Not applicable.
