I refer to the minister’s answer on Tuesday 1 April about tabled paper No 468. (1) Did Dr Peter Lawrence ever work within Perth urban rail development or the Department of Transport, and if so, over what period? (2) Was Dr Peter Lawrence ever employed by Department for Planning and Infrastructure or any other agency or predecessor agency now in the minister’s portfolio, whether or not that employment was prior to the current Government taking office? If so, for what period was he employed? (3) What is the Government’s understanding about Dr Lawrence’s relationship to Asymptote Consulting? (4) What manner of body does the Government understand itself to be contracted to in this contract with Asymptote Consulting? (5) Does Asymptote Consulting, engaged by the Government, have any relationship with the French consulting group with the same name, which previously used the same logo? (6) Has the Government ever engaged the French consulting group with the same name? (7) Does Dr Peter Lawrence hold any official position within the department, such as Perth future strategy project modeller? Hon GRAHAM GIFFARD

I do not appear to have advice from the minister on her response. I ask the member to place the question on notice. Hon PETER FOSS: I have a problem here. I have given notice now of some six questions that were all postponed last week, and are now being postponed again. Hon Tom Stephens: You have more problems than that! Hon PETER FOSS: I know I do, but this is the one worrying me at the moment. I will ask this question again tomorrow, and I hope to get an answer. For a whole week now I have been waiting for answers to these questions, and the minister keeps putting them off and telling me to wait because they are about to come. They had better come pretty soon.
