I am also advised that no further legal actions will be commenced by Mr Conlan in his capacity as Supervisor without prior express consent of the Board. The State Government has approved budgets for the Liquidator in relation to damages proceedings against St George Bank and Rowena’s trust account auditors, however, publication of these budgets may prejudice those proceedings. It is likely that in his capacity as Liquidator Mr Conlan may seek to commence further proceedings over time as issues arise. Funding applications will be submitted to the State Government prior to the commencement of any proceedings by the Liquidator and a cost benefit analysis will be undertaken. That analysis, together with any other relevant considerations, will be considered prior to any decisions being made as to whether to provide further funding.
