ELECTIVE SURGERY —
WAITLISTS
232. Ms L. METTAM to the Minister for Health:
I have a supplementary question.
Again, why did the government stop reporting this data in December 2017?

AnswerView source ↗

WA
Health reports enormous amounts of data and information about emergency
department waiting times, ramping times and elective surgery waitlist
times. We report exactly what is required of us under the act and what is
required of us nationally to report, in exactly the same way as other states.
Ms L. Mettam interjected.
The SPEAKER : Order, please.
Ms A. SANDERSON : That is
actually what we report. The public wants to know when they will get their
surgery and how long they will have to wait, and there is more elective surgery
being done in the system under this government than has ever been done before.
