YARRAGADEE AQUIFER, EXTRACTION OF GROUND WATER
I thank the minister for advising the House that the Government’s three proposed new bores require the approval of the Water and Rivers Commission. Has the Water Corporation made an application to the Water and Rivers Commission for the additional 15 gigalitres? A simple yes or no answer would suffice. Hon N.D. GRIFFITHS

I am not in a position to advise whether a formal application has been made, but I am aware that discussions have taken place between the Water and Rivers Commission and the Water Corporation. If the member wants definitive particulars, I am happy to provide them.
