PINNACLE BLUE PROJECT, FINANCIAL SUPPORT
(1) Can the minister confirm the veracity of the report in The West Australian of 19 November that indicates that the Government is considering a $30 million loan to the consortium behind the Pinnacle Blue project? (2) Will the loan be made on commercially favourable terms, such as a low or no interest rate, and, if so, what will be the terms and the cost to the taxpayer of such an arrangement? (3) What other financial support is being sought by the project proponents? (4) Who are the companies or individuals that comprise the consortium? (5) On 15 November the minister advised that the Government was considering giving $1.9 million in financial support to the project. What is the purpose of the $1.9 million?
