Minister for Housing:
I refer to the public housing
waitlist.
(1) How many
applicants were on the waitlist and priority waitlist respectively at the end
of February 2023, and how many individuals did that represent?
(2) Will the
minister commit to recommencing publication of key public housing statistics
like these on a monthly basis, as is done in other Australian jurisdictions?

been provided by the Minister for Housing.
(1)–(2) As at 28 February 2023, 18 963 applications were
on the public housing waitlist, representing 33 884 people . This
includes 4 541 priority applications, representing 9 120 people. Waitlist times
are routinely made publicly available.
