(1) Has an amount of $405,720 been provided to Western Australian Police from the 2013–2014 Road Trauma Trust Account (RTTA) budget for the Advanced Traffic Motor Vehicle Project: (a) if so on what date was the money provided; and (b) if not, how much money has currently been provided? (2) what is the total cost of that project? (3) what specifically will the money from the RTTA be spent on? (4) will the RTTA money be fully expended by 30 June 2014 and if not why not?

(1)(a) No. The payments are made quarterly. To date, two payments totalling $202 860 have been provided to Western Australia Police.
(b) Not applicable.
(2) The total cost of Advanced Traffic Motor Vehicles (ATMV) project is $3 787 477 including capital and recurrent funding. Of the initial capital funding, $128 889 was unspent and will be returned to the RTTA. $75 623 in recurrent funding will also be returned to the RTTA as the ATMV project went live after the commencement of the financial year and as the spend was calculated on a pro-rata basis, the surplus will be returned.
(3) The $405 720 will fund ongoing operating costs for the 48 ATMVs as follows:
