(a) The Water Corporation approved the engineering drawings in July 2007 for this subdivision before LandCorp constructed the infrastructure in 2007.
(b) No and this has not occurred. LandCorp would not be granted clearance to enable titles to be issued for lots if it did not meet Water Corporation standards.
(c) LandCorp has installed the water infrastructure to the Newman Light Industrial Area as per Water Corporation standards. Savannah Engineers is eligible to apply for a grant for the upgrade of their water service under the Royalties for Regions' Pilbara Regional Grants Scheme (Headworks) and I would encourage them to go to the Pilbara Development Commission's website (
www.pdc.wa.gov.au/funding.aspx
) to download the application form and guidelines.
