I refer the minister to her statement in this House yesterday, when she indicated that the Hooker inquiry would investigate her role in the management and delivery of custodial services under the AIMS contract. (1) Will the inquiry also be investigating the current minister’s role in the delay in physical improvements to the custodial facilities at the Supreme Court? (2) Will the inquiry be investigating the former minister’s role in the delay in physical improvements to the custodial facilities at the Supreme Court? (3) Will the inquiry be investigating the current minister’s response to, and subsequent comments relating to, the Supreme Court great escape incident? Mrs M.H. ROBERTS

(1)-(3) My view is that I have nothing to fear at all from a full inquiry into this matter. I am very happy for Mr Hooker to look completely into my role and into the role of every former Minister for Justice.
