The Office of the Auditor General's (OAG) Report on Financial Audit Results – State Government 2025 released on 3 December 2025 recommends that entities should clearly disclose in financial statements when land is transferred between entities because of Government decisions. Can the Minister please advise: (a) Whether he supports this recommendation; (b) If so, what steps will he take to ensure its implementation; and (c) If not, why not?

This is subject to whole of government policy. Land transfer disclosures are already practiced under Australian Accounting Standards AASB 124, Related Parties.
As has been previously stated, work continues within the Department of Treasury and Finance and the Office of the Auditor General on an agreed whole of government land transfer policy.
