(a) As at 1 May 2012, the only artwork selected for display in the refurbished Hale House development is an abstract wall artwork selected through the State's Percent for Art Scheme.
(b) The selected artwork is an abstract impression of a wandoo forest utilising wandoo timber remnants salvaged from the Perry Lakes Stadium. The artwork will be mounted on the southern courtyard wall on ground floor and first floor levels.
(c) The wandoo artwork has not been given a title by the artist.
(d) The artist for wandoo artwork is Monique Tippett of Monart Design, Dwellingup. Ms Tippett was selected through an invited tender process.
(e) The wandoo artwork is from Western Australia.
(f) $116,500 for the wandoo artwork.
(g) The wandoo artwork was purchased from Monique Tippett of Monart Design, Dwellingup.
(h) The State's Percent for Art Scheme requires projects above $2 million to set aside up to 1% of the construction budget for public art. The wandoo artwork has been selected under the Percent for Art Scheme and is funded out of the Hale House redevelopment project budget.
