I refer to Minister’s media release of 2 February 2011 headlined ‘Proponent selected for high-quality housing in Karratha’, and I ask:
(a) how many of the 80 new homes at Tambray are currently completed ready for occupation by residents;
(b) what value was realised by the State Government for the 5.3 hectare site referred to in the Minister’s announcement;
(c) if any of the housing units referred to in the Minister’s release have been completed, what is the range of sale prices for these dwellings;
(d) if any of the housing units referred to in the Minister’s release have been completed, can the Minister state how many were sold to:
(i) first home buyers;
(ii) owner-occupiers;
(iii) investors resident in Karratha; and
(iv) investors not resident in Karratha; and
(e) when is it is expected that LandCorp and the private consortium are going to be ready to complete their mixed-use Tambrey Neighbourhood Centre, incorporating medium density residential and mixed use development, and what value is expected to be realised to the State Government from this development?

(a)The private developer is advancing plans for the development of this site. The land was rezoned 'Residential' in May 2011, the development plan and subdivision applications have been lodged and work will commence on approval of these applications.
(b)Tambrey Lot 504 has not yet been transferred to the preferred proponent as there are a number of contractual obligations that need to be fulfilled before settlement can occur.
(c) Not applicable.
(d) (i) - (iv) Not applicable.
(e) It is expected the Karratha consortium will gain a development plan approval for the site, complete infrastructure works and have the first phase of the Neighbourhood Centre development, incorporating retail, commercial and residential dwellings, by 2015.  The value to be realised from the site will be determined once the development plan is finalised.
