REFORM
288. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
I refer to the supplementary answer
that was tabled on 14 March 2024 to question without notice 115, asked on 12 March
2024, which informed the house that on 15 February 2024, a working group
provided recommendations to government as part of the rewrite of the Firearms

(1) Noting that
the Firearms Bill 2024 was introduced into Parliament on 21 February 2024, when
were the recommendations considered by government?
(2) Which
provisions in the bill give effect to the recommendations?
(3) In which
version number of the draft bill were those provisions first included?
(4) What is the
date of that draft bill?
