(1) Has an operator for the proposed extended Rottnest Island golf course and club been found?
(2) If yes to (1), have lease and management contracts been signed?
(3) If no to (1), please provide details of the status in relation to the proposed management and operation of the upgraded golf course and the applicable contractual terms that will apply?
(4) Is the proposed golf course upgrade still in the 'project scoping phase'?
(5) If yes to (4), when will this phase be completed and what is the next phase?
(6) Will the Minister please confirm that once the project moves beyond the project scoping phase, an environmental impact assessment of the proposed upgrade will be carried out including —
(a) necessary hydrology reports;
(b) how much run off there will be into the surrounding lakes; and
(c) what the effect of chemically treated irrigation will be on the groundwater and lakes?
(7) Will the environmental impact assessment be tabled once completed?
(8) If no to (7), why not?
(9) Will the Minister please give details of the proposed reticulation of the greens and fairways and the source of the water for that reticulation?
(10) With regard to the proposed extension to the Rottnest Lodge —
(a) what is the proposed timing in relation to the proposed development; and
(b) will a budget for the proposed development be included in the next Rottnest Island Management Plan?

(c) The answer to this will emerge from the hydrology and nutrient modelling studies.
(7) No as this is an operational matter.
(8) Any environmental impact assessment will need to adhere to the Development Approval process for developments classed as non-significant.
(9) During construction the greens will be reticulated using stored rainwater. Fairway reticulation will be installed but not commissioned until late 2013, after which Grade A treated effluent will be used, subject to management protocols to be determined during the Development Approval process, and associated environmental and waste water risk assessments.
(10)(a) The owner of the Rottnest Lodge has not submitted to date any development proposal; and
(b) Any proposed development by the Rottnest Lodge, if approved, will be privately funded.
