I refer to the Western Australia Bicycle Network Plan and ask, for the priority link alongside the Mitchell Freeway from Glendalough to Balcatta: (a) what planning work has been done on this link; (b) what are the details of the works required; (c) when does the Minister expect work to commence; (d) when does the Minister expect works to be completed; (e) what is the estimated cost of this project; and (f) how much is currently allocated in the 2014-15 State Budget and in each year of the forward estimates?

(a-b) It is proposed to install a Principal Shared Path and associated structures. Planning works include:
· concept design.
· detailed design.
· an alignment study.
(c-d) The section is complete with future works scheduled to commence in late 2016 and be completed in 2017.
(e) The estimated cost is $5.675million for scheduled works. The cost estimate for remaining works will be developed after the designs have been completed.
