(1) The responses provided to (a) to (f) represent the number of fingerprints entered into the National Automated Fingerprint Identification System database. Between 2007 and 2011, data is only available by calendar year.

(6) The electronic systems do not include a search facility to capture this data. The task would necessitate a manual extraction and comparison of large amounts of data from multiple systems and consume considerable time and resources. It is therefore not possible for Police to obtain this information without significantly compromising other core policing activities.
