I have a supplementary question. Is the reason for the continued delay in announcing the timber volumes related to the Government’s decision to defer the $12 million forestry assistance package, given that timber workers cannot apply for funding assistance until they have certainty about the volume of resource allocation? Dr GALLOP

The answer is clear, and it is no. Mr Omodei: You are a gutless bastard, that’s what you are. Suspension of Member for Warren-BlackwoodSuspension of Member The SPEAKER: Order! I instruct the member for Warren-Blackwood to retract that statement, and I call him to order for the third time. Does he withdraw? Mr OMODEI: Mr Speaker, this issue has been ongoing for more than 12 months. A whole lot of families and people’s livelihoods are at stake. The Premier has not had the courage to come down to Warren-Blackwood and I am not going to withdraw the remark. The SPEAKER: I call the member for Warren-Blackwood to order for the fourth time. I instruct that the member for Warren-Blackwood be suspended for the balance of today. Several members interjected. The SPEAKER: Order! It is time that we had some order in this place. If members want question time to continue, we need a little bit more control. Questions without Notice Resumed
