(1)–(3) The
planning for the expansion of the mental health co-response team is currently
underway. A steering group including WA police, the Mental Health Commission
and the WA Country Health Service has been established to provide oversight and
advice, based on research and feasibility information, into the development of
service models for the expansion of the mental health co-response service into
regional Western Australia. The operational details are currently being
considered as part of this planning process.
