Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission (a) 2 (two) (b) Same day as losses were discovered. (c) Police gathered evidence. There has been no apprehension or recovery of items stolen (d) N/A Department of Local Government and Regional Development (a) One in 2001/02 reported, the one in 2002/03 not reported. (b) 2001/02 - loss reported as theft between 13-19 May 2002. 2002/03 - loss not reported as it was considered a lost item not stolen. (c) The reported laptop of 2002/03 has not been recovered. The costed value of both losses was recovered by insurance claims through Riskcover. (d) It was not able to be ascertained when the laptop was lost during the year 2002/03. A stocktake was performed in June 2003 when the laptop was found to be missing. The Department was involved in two physical relocations during the year 2002/03 at which time the item may have been lost.
