representing the Minister for Environment:
I refer to the appeals process
currently underway for the amendment of Yara Pilbara
Fertilisers Pty LtdXXX ###XXXs licence to include the
technical ammonium nitrate plant, and to the PremierXXX ###XXXs
opening of the TAN plant on 25 August.
(1) How many appeals were made?
(2) When will the appeals process
conclude?
(3) When will the appellants be
advised of the process?
(4) How has the plant been declared
open despite multiple appeals to the licence amendment?
(5) Is the plant in full production?
(6) If no to (5), and given that it
has been opened, at what level is the plant operating?

(6) Yara Pilbara Nitrates Pty Ltd is currently commissioning
the technical ammonium nitrate plant as authorised by works approval
W4701/2010/1 granted by the Department of Environment Regulation.
