Development :
I refer to yesterday's
government announcement about the endorsement of the so-called SuperTowns growth plans by the Western Australian
Planning Commission.
(1) How much of the $5 million allocated to
assist the SuperTowns strategic
growth plan has been allocated to and/or spent in Collie?
(2) What work was
funded in Collie as part of this planning process?
(3) Of the $85.5 million received by the SuperTowns program, how much has been spent in Collie
since July 2011?

(1) The Shire
of Collie received a direct allocation of $340 000 towards SuperTowns strategic
growth planning and also benefited from a shared fund available to SuperTowns
for a range of consultancies and services to the value of $2 638 407.
(2) A
SuperTowns growth plan and feasible implementation program.
(3) In
addition to the planning funding mentioned in my answer to part (1), project
funding of $11 010 000 for the Collie CBD revitalisation project was also
allocated.
