(2) Part 5 of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 is the responsibility of the Department of Premier and Cabinet. A group chaired by that Assistant Director General, Department of Premier and Cabinet is currently developing a proposal for changes to the operation of discipline provisions for all public sector employees since the operation of Part 5 of the Act is a matter of concern to other State Government departments. No change to Part 6, section 233(4) of the School Education Act 1999 is necessary. The recommendation focussed on the processes under Part 5 of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 and section 233(4) allows a referral of a certain matters to those processes. (3) N/A (4) N/A
