1) The title of Commissioner of Health was abolished on 1 July 2006 by the
Machinery of Government (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2006
.
2) Excluding acting appointments, since 1 January 2001 the position of Commissioner of Health was held by:
· Alan Bansemer from 19 July 1995 to 1 July 2001
· Michael Daube from 12 November 2001 to 7 January 2005
· Dr Neale Fong from 11 October 2005 to 1 July 2006.
