(2) Primary and secondary schools are required to have at least one staff member identified to be in charge of first aid and to be provided with the relevant training. Schools are required to assess their risks and develop plans to ensure first aid can be provided when needed. (3) N/A. (5) Schools are provided with professional development funds to address local level training needs, which may include first aid. As identified through the first aid risk assessment and plan, schools may allocate professional development funds to staff training in first aid, as required. (6) N/A.
