WATER AND SEWERAGE SERVICES —
TRANSFIELD–DEGRMONT–SUEZ CONTRACT
130. Mr F.M. LOGAN to the Minister for Water:
I have a supplementary question. Will the minister now table
the notes from that meeting with Mr Smith so that this matter can be cleared up
and he can prove to the house that he has not misled the house, because he has
certainly not proved that in his first answer?

AnswerView source ↗

There is no link with a meeting that was held two months
before an expression of interest document went out, so there is no misleading
of Parliament.
Mr F.M. Logan : Of
course there is; they have a meeting and next minute it comes out as a
contract, and guess who wins the contract—Degrmont! Of course there's
a link.
The SPEAKER :
Member for Cockburn, not only will I formally call you for the first time but
also I will call you for the second time today. If you wish to pursue the
question in this house, I will enable you to do that. Continual abuse, I will
not accept.
