(1) All drums thought to contain oils containing PCB’s were removed from site and transported to Adelaide for shipment to Queensland for final destruction by incineration. (2) All the transformers were drained of oils and flushed before final disposal by burial. All oils removed were drummed and transported to Adelaide for shipment to Queensland for final destruction by incineration. (3) This whole process was independently audited by MPL Laboratories staff, who are waiting for the certificate of destruction before they complete their report.
