RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES — RENT BIDDING
1166. Hon WILSON TUCKER to the Minister for Commerce:
I refer to the announced reform of
the Residential Tenancies Act 1987, including the planned ban on the practice
of rent bidding. I have received representations that agents and landlords
continue to engage in this practice with increasing frequency. Can the minister
please provide an update on when a bill will be introduced to implement these
reforms?
