I refer to the Government policy document entitled ‘Housing for all Western Australians’, and ask -
(1) How many complaints were received by the relevant authorities about anti-social behaviour in social or public housing in Western Australia during 2004?
(2) Where were the main problem areas?
(3) What were the main complaints?
(4) What steps does the Government propose to take to try to eliminate, or at least reduce, the incidence of anti-social behaviour in social or public housing, both existing and planned?

(1)-(3)The Department of Housing and Works does not maintain statistics on complaints received from other organisations. (4)Anti-social behaviour constitutes a breach of a tenant's tenancy agreement, in those circumstances the Government will take action through the courts to seek the eviction of the tenant under the Residential Tenancies Act. The definition of anti-social behaviour is stipulated in the "Good Neighbour" agreement, which forms part of the tenancy agreement between the tenant and the State Housing Commission.
