I refer to the discovery of clandestine drug laboratories for the period from September 2011 to date, and ask:
(a) can the Minister list the town or suburb in which each of the clandestine drug laboratories were discovered;
(b) can the Minister advise how many charges resulted from each clandestine drug laboratory discovered;
(c) how many of those charges resulted in convictions;
(d) how many of those convictions resulted in imprisonment;
(e) in how many cases has the clandestine drug laboratory been discovered by virtue of an explosion; and
(f) in how many cases were children found on the premises of the drug laboratory?

(b) 102 charges have been preferred between 1 September 2011 and 21 February 2012.
(c - d) This is not within the jurisdiction of Western Australia Police and should be referred to the Department of the Attorney General.
(e) There were no IDMS located by virtue of an explosion between 1 September 2011 and 21 February 2012, however there were two IDMS located as a result of fire. On 22 February 2011 an IDMS was located as a result of explosion.
(f) Eight children were found at IDMS between 1 September 2011 and 21 February 2012.
