(a) The Heritage Council's Development Committee carefully considered the request from the Department of Education at its meeting on 17 November.  The Mount Lawley Primary School is not included on the State Register of Heritage Places or the City of Stirling Municipal Inventory, and the building that has been occupied by Mount Lawley Out of School Care is also known not to be the original school building. On this basis the Committee determined that it had no objection to the proposed demolition.
While encouraging the retention of the building including through relocation to another appropriate location, the Committee has requested that in the event of demolition, an archival photographic record be made beforehand.
(b)-(c) Yes.
