(6) The report commissioned in 2006 was unable to be completed because the Environmental Health Foundation (EHF) was unable to reach agreement on its findings and recommendations. The EHF has since ceased to be a functioning advisory committee to the Department of Health.
In relation to the brickworks in the Swan Valley, officers from the Departments of Health and Environment and Conservation are collaborating to ensure air quality standards are being met for both health and the environment.
