It is difficult to disaggregate the number of Full Time Equivalent staff allocated to women’s policy. Staff across the Department of Local Government and Communities work on projects that emerge from, or are strategically linked to, women’s policy. This includes policy advice, grants programs, information services, events management and community relations, in addition to support from corporate and business services, Corporate Executive and administrative staff. The focus is on achieving outcomes in the Women’s Interests portfolio and resources are allocated as required.
