LONDON-STYLE CABS — WHEELCHAIR PILOT PROJECT
781. Hon ALANNA CLOHESY to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer the minister to the access for people who use
wheelchairs trial of the TX4 London-style cabs.
(1) How many people who use wheelchairs are engaged in this
trial?
(2) How many trips have been undertaken?
(3) How many more trial participants are required in order to
complete the trial?
(4) What is the anticipated trial completion date?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question and for her interest in the London cabs trial, which was established
by this government.
(1) Six.
(2) As at 11 August 2015, six trips have been completed by
approved pilot patrons.
(3) Nil.
(4) The
anticipated completion date of the on-road component is 21 August 2015, with an
evaluation to be provided to the government later this year.
