(1) Will the Minister detail to the Parliament the key elements of the Western Australian State Trail Bike Strategy that has been prepared for Government, and indicate what date this strategy was first made available to Government?
(2) What progress has the State Government made towards endorsing and implementing a Western Australian State Trail Bike Strategy; and
(a) what are the key elements of this strategy that have been actioned so far by the Western Australian Government; and
(b) what funds have been allocated to implement any of the components of this strategy?
(3) Will the Minister table a copy of the Western Australian State Trail Bike Strategy; and
(a) if not, why not?

(1)          The State Trail Bike Strategy (STBS) was made available to Government in June 2008.  The STBS can be accessed at
http://tbma.com.au/stbs
.
(2)     Governmenthas noted the State Trail Bike Strategy.  Work is now being undertaken in consultation with key stakeholders to develop funding models for the strategy's implementation.
(2)          (a)     The STBS identifies a number of suitable locations across Western Australia that will be developed for the managed use of trail bikes.  In addition, a Joint Agency Implementation Committee (JAIC) has developed a whole of government governance model to manage the trail bike sustainability model.
(2)     (b)     The JAIC has developed a fully costed implementation plan.
