I refer to the former Premier and the Minister for Transport's media release, on 10 December 2019, announcing a contract with Alstom to build 246 METRONET C-series railcars, and I ask: (a) can the Minister advise if the contract resulted in the additional 200 new jobs announced; (b) can the Minister advise if the 200 additional new jobs were for Western Australian (WA) residents, or is there a component for Alstom staff from overseas and interstate; (c) in reference to (b), what was the split between WA residents and otherwise; and (d) can the Minister advise how many Alstom staff from overseas and interstate operate from the Bellevue and associated facilities involved with the delivery of the C-series trains?
