I refer to the joint proposal initiated by the Claremont Football Club and Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (Inc), to relocate the Claremont Football Club to the Royal Agricultural Society Showgrounds.
(1) Has the Town of Claremont given the Minister any advice, either written or verbal, that it has discussed and agrees with the proposal?
(2) If so, when was this advice given to the Minister?
(3) Who gave the advice?
(4) Has a project team been formed to consider concepts for the redevelopment of the Claremont Football Club site?
(5) If so, what is the status of the redevelopment?
(6) Who are the members of the project team?
(7) On what dates has it met in the past 12 months?
(8) Are minutes kept of the meetings?
(9) If so, will the Minister table these minutes?

This follows; the holding of an exploratory meeting in July 2003 with the relevant stakeholders, including the Mayor of Claremont; a further exploratory meeting with the Mayor and Chief Executive Officer of the Town of Claremont on 13 November 2003 and written advice (letters addressed by the Mayor of Claremont dated 9 July 2003, 23 December 2003, 16 June 2004 and 11 August 2004), indicating the Claremont Council's qualified support for the relocation proposal.
