(1) The total Department of Health funding in 2007/2008 allocated to the Mentally Healthy Western Australia Health Promotion Program is $363K ($250K is in kind support of staff, office, travel and other associated costs). Mentally Healthy WA are continuing negotiations with their previous key partners and funders including Curtin University's Centre for Behavioural Research, Healthway, Lotterywest and Rio Tinto.
(2) The Department of Health Western Australia allocated approximately $5.2 million to research in mental disorders and the promotion of mental health wellbeing in the 2006/2007 financial year.
