(1) As shown in the 2012-13 Budget Statements, the Government allocated an additional $4.488 million across three financial years to meet the costs of the Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) and the Conservation Commission in preparing the
Forest Management Plan 2014-2023
, in addition to support through DEC's existing budget. The cost of preparing subsidiary documents that may be required by the plan is unknown as the requirement for such subsidiary documents has not been determined. Similarly, no estimate of the cost of monitoring and auditing in 2014-15 has been made.
