I refer to the Government’s timber industry restructure plan and to my question 116 of 2002. (1) How many of the remaining timber industry exits have now been processed? (2) What are - (i) the names; and (ii) the volumes and grades of each timber species currently taken by each applicant whose application has been processed? (3) What is the total cost estimated for all business exits? (4) Has the remaining mill in Dwellingup - Colli and Sons - applied for business exit; and, if so - (i) what is the estimated exit cost of that application; and (ii) what reason has been given for making the application? (5) Has Jensen Jarrah applied for business exit; and, if so - (i) what is the estimated cost of that exit; and (ii) what reason has been given for making the application? (6) Have any problems been experienced in the administration of the business exit program? (7) Why is it taking the Government so long to finalise the processing of business exit applications? (8) Has the Government allocated sufficient funds in this budget to enable it to meet all exit applications? If not, why not? Hon KEN TRAVERS
