1151. Hon AMBER-JADE SANDERSON to the
Minister for Planning:
(1) Since 1 July
2014, have any meetings taken place between the Metropolitan Redevelopment
Authority and/or Department of Planning staff, including the WA Planning
Commission, and Mr Sam Barnett and/or representatives of the companies
Pearllargo Pty Ltd and/or Citylex Pty Ltd?
(2) If yes to (1) —
(a) from which of
the agencies did staff meet with Mr Sam Barnett and/or representatives of the
aforementioned companies;
(b) on what date
or dates were the meetings held;
(c) what was the nature or subject of
the meetings; and
(d) what is the name of all persons
present at the meetings?

of the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority have met with Mr Sam Barnett.
(b) The meeting was held on 12 May
2015.
(c) The MRA met
with Mr Sam Barnett and representatives of COO Beijing Aidi International
School, which is also known as the National Institute of Technology, to discuss
potential sites for their Confucius garden concept.
(d) Mr Kieran
Kinsella, MRA chief executive officer; Mr Richard Muirhead, MRA chairman; Mr Sam
Barnett and Ms Tina Teng, Dr James Tan and Dr Lydia Liu of COO Beijing Aidi
International School.
