Train stations—Platforms
115. Hon Steve Martin to the parliamentary secretary representing
the Minister for Transport:
I refer to recent
media reports that platforms at dozens of train stations on the Armadale, Midland
and Fremantle lines will need to be extended, with updated trains too long for
existing platforms.
(1) How many train stations will need to be
extended?
(2) What will be the cost of the extensions?
(3) When will tendering start for the first phase
of the extensions?
