What input does the minister and the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure have in determining where public housing is procured? Hon NICK GRIFFITHS

AnswerView source ↗

I think that when the honourable member asks a question of me and the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure, he should direct that part of his question that relates to the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure to the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure in the appropriate way. In respect of my role, I have ministerial responsibility for the Department of Housing and Works, and the Department of Housing and Works through Homeswest is very active in the promotion of public housing. We have a very robust budget for the provision of public housing. I look forward to continuing to address the public housing needs of Western Australians. I look forward also to the capacity to do that being enhanced in the event that there is a change of Government at the next federal election.
