representing the Minister for Education:
I refer the minister to recent
Canadian research into the manner in which schools interact with students who
have a medicinal cannabis prescription.
(1) Are there any
guidelines available to schools here in Western Australia on best practice when
interacting with a student who has a medicinal cannabis prescription?
(2) Is medicinal
cannabis treated in the same way as any other medication when it comes to
potential use within a school setting; and, if not, how does its treatment
differ, and why is this the case?
