The Government’s priorities in capital works have been adjusted for a number of reasons. A number of projects in the mid west region have been advantaged by being brought forward substantially, and the mid west region received considerable benefit from the acceleration of those projects. I make no apologies for the decisions the Government has made in the interests of benefiting the mid west region.
