PETER SIMES - DISABILITY ACCOMMODATION SUPPORT FUNDING
Can the minister inform the Parliament whether Mr Peter Simes’ fourth application for accommodation support funding has been successful in the latest funding round; and, if not, why not? Hon ADELE FARINA

I thank the member for some notice of this question. Under section 21 of the Disability Services Act 1993, the minister is specifically precluded from gaining identifying information from the Disability Services Commission on all accommodation support funding. The support funding is allocated by an independent panel. The minister has no involvement in the assessment of or decisions on applications for support.
