1. Yes.
2. Horizon Power conducts independent surveys of customers annually to assess customer satisfaction and corporate reputation. The cost of this survey was as follows:
2008/09 - $48,900
2009/10 - $51,770
2010/11 - $40,000
In the years 2008/09 and 2009/10, costs included additional research into customer satisfaction with the Horizon Power Call Centre.
Horizon Power also conducts periodic surveys of employee satisfaction to determine employee opinion on internal people management practices. The cost of the survey was as follows:
2008 - $17,103
2009 - $17,612
2010 - $18,617.
The survey was not conducted in 2011.
